BHC highly recommends all student athletes contact their current school district to see what virtual learning/hybrid options are available. We urge you to start these conversations with your counselor now in order to guarantee placement for the 2026-27 school year, as spots for virtual learning programs fill quickly!
BHC has partnered with WWU to provide on-site tutoring as needed.
BHC has partnered with the K12 One Public School program. An accredited leader in online education for over two decades, K12 has empowered more than 3 million students in grades K-12 with its innovative curriculum, extensive family support offerings, and powerful ways for students to connect and socialize. K12 is a tuition-free online school that offers personalized learning from state-certified teachers.
K12 Online Public School offers two programs – Washington Virtual Academy (WAVA) and Insight School of Washington (ISWA). Student athletes must enroll in their Flex Option, which will allow for the schedule flexibility needed for your student athlete. WAVA offers NCAA-accredited courses (some at the AP level).
Spokane Virtual Learning – Spokane Public Schools offer an online program for out of district students.

Washington Connections Academy – Opened as a network of tuition-free public school programs that has been helping students ignite their passions and find a path to success ever since.

BC Online School – The courses are designed to meet all the BC Learning Standards as defined by the Ministry of Education. All the teachers with BC Online School are BC-certified teachers. Student athletes should be in communication with their school of record and guardians about courses, graduation requirements and required credits. Courses for 10th-12th grade students cost $35.00/course.
Abbotsford Virtual School – Distance/Offsite Program K-12 offers fully enrolled at-home programs. Programs are teacher supported and follow the BC Ministry of Education curriculum. There are no fees for K-12 students who enroll in AVS full time. (*Computers not provided)
Vancouver Learning Network – Offers full-time and part-time studies to secondary students in grades 8-12. There are no tuition fees for school-age students who are BC residents. Refundable textbook and resource deposits may apply depending upon course or grade selection.
